Privacy Notice

This page explains in plain terms what information Vorlixenzik collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have over your personal information.

Last updated:

We respect the privacy of every visitor to this website and every person who books a session with us. This notice describes the categories of information we handle, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and how you can ask us to change or delete it. It applies to the website at vorlixenzik.world and to any related forms or correspondence operated by Vorlixenzik.

1. Who we are

Vorlixenzik is a small outdoor wellbeing studio operating from 186 Victoria St W, Auckland CBD, Auckland 1010, New Zealand. We are the data controller for any personal information collected through this website. If you ever need to contact us about a privacy matter, please use the contact details listed on our contacts page.

2. The information we collect

We deliberately collect as little information as possible. The categories below cover everything we routinely handle:

2.1 Information you give us

  • Your name, email address, and the message you write into our contact form.
  • Optional details you choose to share, such as a phone number, accessibility needs, or group size, when discussing a booking.
  • Your acknowledgement of this notice when you tick the consent box on the form.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Standard server log entries such as the date and time of your visit, the page visited, the referring page and the type of browser used.
  • A small number of cookies used solely to remember your privacy preferences and to keep the website running smoothly. See our cookies notice for the full list.

3. How we use this information

We only use personal information for purposes that you would reasonably expect, including:

  • Replying to enquiries you send through our contact form.
  • Confirming, scheduling, or rescheduling sessions you book with us.
  • Improving the website and the clarity of the information we publish.
  • Meeting any legal, tax, or safety record-keeping obligations that apply to us.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your details to send marketing communications without your separate, prior consent.

4. The legal basis for processing

Where applicable laws require us to identify a legal basis, we rely on the following: your consent, given when you tick the form checkbox; the necessity of performing or preparing a contract for a session you ask us to provide; our legitimate interest in operating a small business website securely; and our compliance with legal obligations such as record retention.

5. How long we keep information

We retain enquiry messages for up to twelve months from the date of last contact, unless a booking is made. Booking-related information is kept for up to seven years to comply with New Zealand business record requirements. Server logs are rotated within 30 days. You can ask us to delete your information earlier if you no longer need us to hold it.

6. Sharing your information

We share information only when strictly necessary, and only with parties who help us deliver the service you have asked for. Typical recipients include:

  • Our website hosting provider, which stores form submissions on secure servers.
  • The email service we use to read and reply to your enquiry.
  • Authorities or auditors, where we are legally required to disclose information.

We never share your information with advertising networks or third-party data brokers.

7. International transfers

Some of the technical providers we use store data on servers located outside New Zealand. Where this happens, we choose providers that maintain comparable data-protection standards, including encryption in transit and at rest.

8. Your rights

You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct inaccurate information, to withdraw any consent you previously gave, to ask us to delete information that we no longer need, and to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner if you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request.

9. How we protect your information

We use HTTPS across the entire website, restrict access to enquiry messages to a small number of staff, and review our security practices each year. No system is perfect, but we take any incident seriously and will notify affected visitors if anything significant occurs.

10. Children

Our services are designed for adult participants. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16 without parental involvement. If you believe a child has provided information to us by mistake, please let us know and we will remove it.

11. Changes to this notice

We may update this privacy notice from time to time, for example when we adopt new tools or when laws change. The most recent revision date is shown at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the website for a reasonable period.

12. Contact

If you have a question about this notice or would like to exercise one of the rights described above, please contact us through the form on our contacts page or visit our office at the address listed there. We aim to respond within five working days.
